Complaints Policy

If something goes wrong, here is exactly how to raise it and what happens next.

Policy updated 9 September 2026
HomeComplaints Policy

We would rather hear about a problem than not. Complaining costs you nothing and does not affect any work in progress.

How to complain

Email info@landlordsfireriskassessment.co.uk with the property address, the date of the assessment and what went wrong. If you would rather speak to someone, call 020 3386 1854 and we will take the details.

What happens next

  • Within 3 working days we acknowledge your complaint in writing.
  • Within 14 working days we give you a full written response. If we need longer — for example if we must revisit the building — we tell you why and when to expect an answer.
  • If we got something wrong we say so, explain what we are doing about it, and put it right at our cost.

If you are still unhappy

Ask us to review the decision and a different person will look at it. If we still cannot agree, you are free to seek independent advice, and nothing in this policy affects your legal rights.

Complaints about the findings

If you disagree with a judgement in the report, see our Corrections Policy — factual errors are corrected free of charge.

What we do with complaints

We record every complaint and review them so the same fault does not recur. Records are kept in line with our Privacy Policy.
