How we correct mistakes, in a report or in the guidance published on this site.
We publish guidance about fire safety law and we issue reports that people rely on. Both need to be right, and both get corrected when they are not.
If you believe your assessment contains a factual error — a wrong address, a miscounted floor, a door recorded in the wrong condition — tell us and we will check it. Genuine errors are corrected and a revised report is issued free of charge. Where a correction changes a finding, we say so plainly in the revised report rather than quietly amending it.
A risk rating is a judgement, not a fact. If you disagree with one, we will explain the reasoning and reconsider it. If we still disagree, you are entitled to seek a second opinion, and we will share our findings with whoever you appoint.
If guidance here is wrong or out of date, email info@landlordsfireriskassessment.co.uk. We will check it against the current legislation and guidance, and correct it. Where a correction is material — where someone might have acted on the wrong information — we note the change and its date on the page rather than editing silently.

Email us and we will come back to you.
